my babies

june 2nd 09

its been a while since my last post. so here we are in kamloops, been here since may 4th. we are staying at my parents house, we tried to go to a hotel, but noah was having a bad reaction to the carpet, he got hives all over his face. and he wasnt sleeping well there, so we packed up and came to my parents. we were suppose to recieve help from mid coast training society, but there was a catch. we had to be staying at the hotel in order to get any living allowance or food. we never knew that...if we did we wouldnt have checked out.
brett is in school. so he is real busy too. meanwhile iam at home with the kiddies, trying to keep busy.
noah had heatsroke, and maiya is getting stuffy , i think it is a cold coming on.
we have not done much here, since we dont really have the money to do anything...ugh :(
we have taken the kids to the park, and i want to go to the zoo too, so that is next on the list.
i have done alot of picture updating on facebook, so you can check them out there.
that is pretty much my update ... boring and not much excitment.

Easter 2009

My beautiful baby maiya in her easter dress. she looked to pretty.

Here they are after the easter egg hunt. Noah was soo excited to find his eggs.

maiya was having fun too. She wasnt into the hunt but more into the easter basket.

she carried it all over the house with her.

They had such a nice say. I tried to make the day as special as I could for noah, since he

was the only one who really knew what easter was.

I hid all the eggs around the house and after breakfast he went on the hunt.

Later that day we tried to take them to the fun day at the hall. it was advertised a "free fun day for the kids" and when we got there, it wasnt what we expected. there was nothing for the kids to do really, and the sad thing was that all the kids had to PAY TO PLAY AND EAT!!!!!!!!

how disappointing. so we left, and painted eggs.

later we had abig family dinner. and it was good.

all the family got together and had a nice turkey dinner.

we got home late, and got the kiddies into bed and had a few moment of quiet time.

Lately I havent been feeling well. My theory is Im fighting of getting sick. I have been dizzy and tired, and nauseated.....NO Im not preggo either. lol. But seriously, it is a bit annoying, always around the same time I feel this way. and on top of that I have been really hurting with my back. For those of you who arent aware of my back situation, I have an extremely BAD back. When I was younger I had a accident that caused 5 disks in my lower back to compress to practically Non exsistant. So I have been living with this back problem for a long time, and until last year I had no clue what was wrong with me i though it was from being overweight. My doc said no matter how much weight I lose it still wont relieve pressure or get better. So i have a appointment with a Neurosurgeon soon to determine if I have to go through back surgery..UGH wouldnt that be a pain in the ass, especially with having two babies to care for.

so lets cross our finger and hope that isnt the only option for me.

Im sitting here waiting for brett to come home so I can get these kids to bath and bed, but I wanted to send you all a lil update on our easter day.

hello again...Bored at 1:30am

FIRST OF ALL I WANT TO CONGRATULATE MY SISTERS CAM AND DESSA ON BRINGING TWO BEAUTIFUL, HEALTHY BABIES INTO THIS WORLD. YOU WILL BE WONDERFUL MOMS. AND I CANT WAIT TO MEET THEM BOTH.

Secondly, we have been just getting in all the visits we can since we will be leaving in 2 1/2 more weeks. off to the loops for the summer.
it will be a nice change of pace, and I cant wait to see my godchildren. I havent seen glenny since last summer and the same goes for his baby bro. they all grow too fast.
I entered my babies photo into a contest, hoping to win some cash for my family, we have been having a bit of a struggle lately, and it would be nice if luck was on our side for once.
Its call iparents.com. i sent invites out to my friends to vote for my kids picure. Its called brother and sisterly love. I thought it was a nice pic to enter. so please can you accept my invite to vote for my babies.
I finally bought maiya her first pair of really good shoes, now shes bombing around nonstop, walking walking walking. She has been on the go forever, now with shoes she is more stable..lol.
now shes getting into even more!!
Easter is here, and i hid noahs easter treats all over the house, and I left him a letter from the easter bunny. i never got maiya anything really, shes too young to know what easter is. so i bought her a lil yellow duck that chirps. she is so easy to please.
I have been trying to get this house cleaned spotless, we are subleasing to bretts cousin, she has twins babies the same age as maiya, but 2 weeks older. so this will be a nice change of pace for her and her hubby to have their own space. since they have been living with thier parents. its always nice to have your own place, especially when you are your own lil family.
I cant wait to dress maiya in her pretty easter dress. and noah will be noah if i dress him up he will make a mess of himself and i wont be able to get the stains out..lol.

not much of an update

I finally can put maiyas hair into piggy tails...lol i just love it!

Not much new with us really. We are preparing to leave for kamloops for the summer.

brett has school, and it will be nice to be there and to see family.

Now i can meet my new niece and nephew. cam had her baby girl march 21st and dessa had her baby boy april 6th. so im excited to go and see them as well.

maiya is doing great, she isnt so lazy to walk around now. she motors all over the house, sometimes i think she even wants to walk with us down the streets..lol.

and as for noah, he is ....noah. crazy, loud and full of endless energy. keeps me on my toes for sure.

hello...another update

Well its been a week now that my brother has been with us in bella bella, its been nice having my family around. noah especially because he loves his uncle chad.

Maiya and I had a lil accident the other night, we fell and i didnt have time to put my hand under maiyas head to prevent her from hitting the pavement, so she hit and i feel so so bad. she is ok now though she has a big bump on her head and she cried so hard. i didnt know i hit so hard until i woke up in the morning with a real sore arm and back.

maiya calls herself a "good girl" and feeds herself and is proud when she feeds herself.

my girl is in the 50% for growth, she is tiny compared to how big noah was when he was this age.

she is a fussy fussy eater, she wont eat anything we give her. i get so fustrated because she wont eat, noah ate anything we gave him, she wont, she is very stubborn.

today is bretts grandpas 87th birthday, wow 87 how wonderful, and he is a great man, always so full of love for my babies, I am grateful my kids have a papa like him.
