a weekend update

noah felt like such a big boy on the seabus because we let him sit
all by himself.

This was taken on our anniversary thursday. i thought i would post a
pic with me in it since i rarely do. we had a nice anniversary, very relaxing.

noah just loves his uncle william, so i took a picture of the two of them
sitting in the fire truck. I think noah felt like he was on top of the world.

after the fire truck, noah insisted on jumping in the puddles, so we went home to
get his gum boots, and it didnt matter anyway if we got them, he took a dive in the puddle up to his knees, and the jumping got his bum all wet anyway. so off to bath we went.
Noah was having such a great day at the childrens sports day, he won two 1st place ribbons in two races. he had a piggy back race with cody and a running race with other little kids. he was so proud to be wearing his ribbons.

HAPPY 4TH ANNIVERSARY HUN!!!

Yesterday brett and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. we went out to dinner with just ourselves and then had a few drinks and relaxed. we went home about 11, picked up the kids and had a realxing evening.
brett bought me solid gold earring with an eagle design on them, they are so nice. I AM a lucky girl.
four years already, it doesnt seem too long ago that we were dating. now we have 2kids and a beautiful life together.
I never got any pictures really, but a few. i will have to post them when i upload them.

every morning, when maiya goes into noahs room, she has to lay with him...
then he screams out "MOM!! TAKE A PICTURE!!!" so i have to take one. and here they are.
dont ask...i have no idea what is up with noahs hair...lol

In this one, he is determined to wear his cowboy hat...all morning he was runnin around the house, yelling "Im a cowboy..woohoo!"

mpart 2 of our trip

I snapped this humpback whale close by the beach, all afternoon it just kept jumping out of the water, and laying on its back with his fins in the air, i looked like he was waving. it was amazing. There was a couple thoughts that bretts mom had about the whale. 1- grandad was there, thats where grandads ashes were spread, and maybe that was him jumping and waving at us. or 2- chief moses had just passed away and maybe that was him being welcomed home....
This whale was amazing I had never seen anything like it, he stayed in front of us for like a 1/2 hour, breaching and laying on his back with his fins in the air, swaying them back and forth..

Here is ahma trying desperately to put Maiya to sleep, first she tried to put aliyah to sleep, then noah, and maiya, none of them wanted to sleep. they put up a huge fight.

Later on Pauli finally got noah to sleep....LMAO, hilarious...he was practically falling off of her..but he never woke up.

I cant remember the last time I went to Idle Point, but I do remember that the last time brett and I were there, we had no kids....lol, so that must have been long ago. We roasted hot dogs and the kids played all afternoon. brett and Kels braved it out and had a dip in the ice cold ocean water....I never seen brett run so fast out of the water..lol.
Later they fished off the boat, and then we headed back home around supper time, instead of going home, we went to shearwater, and had a nice dinner at the restaraunt.
what a great day it turned out to be.
