Well things are going very well, minus the fact that noah wasnt feeling well for a while. now he seems to be doing good. Brett bought me a "royal treatment" spa day, i cant wait to get my massage..oh that will be nice.

We still have no plans for new years, i hope someone does something so brett and i can go out.

My grandpa Ron came to meet Noah for the 1st time, here is a picture of them.

It was a nice week, and soon we will be heading back home to bella bella, im sad to leave my family, but i know time will pass by so fast and we will be back again.

Christmas is Done

Well the long christmas day has finally passed. and We went to kelowna to have the day all to ourselves, unfortunatly that didnt work out the way we planned. We had a nice morning together in the hotel though, then we checked out because there was nothing open and nowhere to eat. So we travelled back home again, and finished off the night relaxing. Noah got so many gifts, but i made sure before everyone bought him something, that it would fit in our truck.

Today (boxing day) we had our chritmas dinner, i cooked, and now im tired as heck. but it was a good dinner.

Other than that it has been really nice to have nothing to do on the holidays, i have my family here who is giving brett and i some much needed time to ourselves.

Shopping Day!!!

Well today was such a busy day, my mom and I went shopping for christmas gifts, wow did i ever go nuts, it was fun. We had a nice dinner together, gee i miss doing this stuff with my mom. We always have such a nice time. We bought noah a car play center, it vibrates when you turn the key to start it.
I do miss my family back in Bella Bella, i cried when we were leaving. Now i know its a place i call home. Its nice to have two homes, and two families that care so much for me and my son. They are great people, very giving and loving. I cant wait till next yar when we spend christmas there. It will be different, but different is always better.
Well tomorrow is another day and we are shopping for christmas turkey. We will be having christmas dinner on the 26th since brett and I and noah are having our own little christmas. it will be nice. i cant wait.
but i think we are going to tackle his car now, it has to be put together..urg!!

Back in Kamloops

Well we arrived in the loops today. it was a long long trip from bella bella. we ended up on the ferry for 22 hours, and it was only suppose to be 7 hours. Was it ever bad, Noah ended up getting sick, he had a fever of 103 degrees. And then it went up and down for over 24 hours. we were so anxious to get off the ferry. Finally we got off at 7am in the morning.

We went to a real early breakfast , and travelled to Campbell river. when we got to Campbell river, we headed for a hotel, and we never moved for the whole day!

we had a nice Chinese dinner, and went to bed. We had lunch with Brett's friend Norman. And we had Starbucks!!!mmmmm...:) real coffee.

Then we headed for Nanaimo. For another long drive. we got to Nanaimo at 5pm, and had a short visit with Noah's godfather. Then it was off to Victoria.

Noah ended up getting sick again on the way to Victoria, he got stuffy and crabby...wow what a trip. so we decided to go straight for the hotel in Sidney. and we crashed right away.

The weekend was nice, we had the weekend to share with Brett's uncle and aunt, and Noah's great gran. we had brunch on Sunday, and Noah took a bail at uncle franks house. he smashed his face against the coffee table, bled a bit, and cried alot. he is still pretty crabby.

All together Noah was a real good traveller. he slept most of the way and ate...lol.

So as you know ...Noah's grandparents (my mom and dad) and aunts and uncles are very happy to see him.

oh Yeah !! and we had a nice time at Butchart Gardens...the lights were amazing and it was cold. Noah was bundled up in his snowsuit, everyone was looking at him and smiling, saying he was adorable. it was a nice, long trip.

Early Christmas

Last night we had our early christmas with the family here in bella bella. it was nice. everyone was there, and dinner was wonderful. Noah got so many gifts. he especially loved his trucks. The baby girls were also there, Aliyah is my new niece and Kvai-lynn. aliyah dressed in a santa outfit, she looked so adorable. it was a nice relaxing night, but i can tell the family here was a little sad we were going to spend our first christmas alone as a little family. but there are always more holidays to come.

we had a sleepover at my house with our nieces kylie and kels. they had fun, playing a game that they got for their birthday, truth or dare. it was fun. we had to smell feet, dance like a chicken and they put makeup all over their uncle brett.

it was a nice weekend.

damn vehicles!!

Well today was another relaxing day. Noah and i just played all day, napped together, and ate. tonight i cleaned the spare bedroom, we have bretts neices coming over for a sleepover tomorrow night. now all i got left to do is the rest of the laundry, dishes, living room needs to be cleaner, and mop the floors and clean the bathrooms. whew, what a weekend i have cut out for me.
So far this blog is working out great for me, no problems yet.
Urgh!! well our truck, that we just bought in August, Brand new 2006 colorado, is having problem after problem, now the engine light is showing and there was a little shutter tonight as i was warming it up. dam i never have luck with vehicles. now we have to stop in port hardy to get it fixed, hell if i wanna break down on the hyw, somewhere. there should be a guarentee written somewhere that if you buy a brand new vehicle, and there are so many things wrong with it the first few months....i dunno maybe they should take some money off of the bill!!!
I hate trucks, cars, everything !! if there were still horsedrawn buggies, i would love it, although it would take forever to get to kamloops..
well i hope nothing too serious is wrong with our truck, we cant afford it!
well its time for bed.

another relaxing day

Well today has been a slow day, thank god. I cant wait to get on the road again. we are going to victoria for a few days to visit bretts gran, uncle and aunt. then we are off to kamloops!!! we decided that for our first official christmas as a little family, we are going to go to the okanagan. for a few days, just to be on our own. then back again to kamloops for the rest of the holidays. woohoo!! this weekend we are having our 2 neices over for a sleepover. and i hope to get a bit of cleaning done while they are here. i want the house to be spick and span for the holidays before we leave.
but with that said, im going to shop on ebay now.

New

Ok...here we go again! urgg, this blogger better work. Well today was bretts 28th birthday, we had a nice chinese dinner with the family. Brett raked in the goodies. i made him a relaxing bath at the end of the day, and now i think its almost time for sleep. i spent all night and all day making 2 cakes for him and lesagne as well. It was a nice day, i made him breakfast in the morning, and gave him some of his gifts before he went to work.. but i think i saved the best gift for last. noah and i picked out a real nice leather jacket for him. and he really liked it. so i think i did well. now its time to rest.

on sunday my niece kelsie had her 10th birthday, so that was another party we went to . her mom really goes out with birthday parties, they are lots of fun. she buys all these funny, hilarious gag things for the kids. and she bought these wierd glasses, so i put them on noah to see what he did. he didnt seem to mind them for a few seconds, we managed to get a picture of him wearing them. plus his aunty ramona bought him a car/walker. here are some pics of everything. i will post bretts birthday next blog.
